The Dragon year (23 January 2012 – 9 February 2013) is an active and fast-moving one and there will have been times when the Rabbit has despaired of its pace or the demands placed upon him. However, he is both wise and perceptive and by remaining aware and adaptable he can fare well in the latter months. Also, with his own year rapidly approaching, what he is able to do now can often be to his future benefit.
In his work the Rabbit could find he has to cope with extra pressures. However, while the closing months of the Dragon year can be demanding, by using his judgement and skills to advantage he can not only achieve some impressive results but also help his standing and prospects. It is worth the Rabbit making the extra commitment, for the last quarter of the year could see some interesting work possibilities emerge.
The Rabbit can also look forward to much activity in his home and social life at this time. Domestically, there will be a lot to do and think about, including a possible family get-together, visits to others and some practical undertakings, often of a maintenance nature. With his talent for organizing, the Rabbit will be very much at the centre of all that goes on, but he does need to draw on the assistance of others where necessary and not shoulder too much by himself. Socially he can look forward to quite a few occasions, with November to January an often busy time.
In general, the Dragon year will ask a lot of the Rabbit but will prepare him for some of the opportunities and good fortune that his own year can bring.
The Year of the Snake begins on 10 February and will be a fine and auspicious one for the Rabbit. By nature he is generally cautious and does not embark on change lightly, but during his own year he will feel more certain and be ready to act and seize his opportunities. And with the favourable aspects that prevail, his own year holds considerable promise for him.
The Rabbit’s work prospects are especially favourable and many Rabbits will now reap the rewards of their recent hard work. The Rabbit’s prospects will be very much helped by his own personal qualities, including his ability to relate so effectively to others. In 2013 he will have much in his favour.
Many Rabbits will feel the time is now right for them to move forward, and such are the aspects that they should not only keep alert for promotion opportunities in their existing place of work but also make enquiries elsewhere. Very quickly they could find attractive opportunities they will be keen to pursue. The initiative to take action rests with the Rabbit himself, but once he makes the decision to move forward, a lot can open up for him. February to April and October could see some good possibilities, but throughout the year the Rabbit should remember this is his year
and when he is focused on something, important doors can and will open for him.
This also applies to Rabbits who are keen to make more substantial career change. By seeking advice and considering different options, they could discover new types of work which offer an interesting personal challenge and have growth opportunities for the future. In some cases the type of work the Rabbit decides on will involve considerable adjustment to his routine and a steep learning curve, but his actions can help him feel more motivated and energized than he has been for some time.
